Chapter 5
Epilogue (the reality of Heaven and Hell and eternity)

After the death of the Chosen agents, the people of Back, those who had chosen the Pulsing rather than the Source, went about living their lives as though nothing had changed. But it had. They found their Constructs less satisfying, for without the Pull, hope was gone. True hope only comes from the Source, and tomorrows depend on hope.
As their Constructs crumbled, they turned to the Pulsing for their purpose in life. For a while they were content, for they were deceived by the false flows of the Pulsing telling them they were enjoying life to its fullest.
Then the Stranger appeared in the sky as the scrolls had foretold, along with a great army. All people saw him. The ability of the Pulsing to deceive was broken. He was no longer his handsome form. The people now knew the truth: the Source was the one in control. The Source was the one to give true purpose and meaning to life. But it was too late. They had made their choice.
Rather than acknowledge the truth, the people banded together for battle in their hatred of the Stranger, cursing and shaking their fists at him. The Stranger waged war against them and destroyed them with fire flowing from his mouth, the fire of Truth and Judgement.
It was the end of Back.

***********************************
Total darkness...darker than any night…all who had ever lived who had not yielded to the Pull, each alone in a crypt, row upon row of crypts floating motionless in a dark place…each alone with their thoughts…for all eternity. They would welcome death but their souls couldn’t die. They would exist forever knowing the truth that they had made the wrong choice. They had no more choices, for even if they were given another chance, they would be choosing the Source out of fear and not longing. And what would that make them? No longer human.
And truth without healing is torment. Flows of red continuously crackled to and between the crypts, like lightning. Red...never blue. Truth...never healing. Those in the crypts would scream as truth was revealed to them, but their screams were without sound.
Death wandered among the crypts, but no one feared dying any longer. Death was fading. There were only a few more things to do. Go get the Pulsing. With no one left who didn't know truth, and with Death no longer able to give him strength, the Pulsing was powerless. Death put the Pulsing, struggling feebly, into one of the two remaining empty crypts. With the last of his strength, Death climbed into the last crypt.
     The Age-when-men-get-hungry was over.

Leif, Isabella, Kamiko and Devan were led to their places in Sourceworld by the Stranger. They were next to each other and very close to the Source. The Stranger radiated pure love to them. Leif could hardly believe it.
"We get to be this close to you?"
"For all eternity," the Stranger replied, smiling at them.
"But we don't deserve this," Isabella said weakly. "We haven't done anything that great."
"Actually you have. Your place here is determined not only by if you did what I asked of you, but by how much you longed for me; by how much you desired to be in my presence and how much time you spent with the Beat and the Lighting.
"I am no longer the Stranger, for you know me, and will come to know me much more, even as I know you. I have yearned for this moment."
And so, their greatest desire was realized: to be close to the Source forever. Their final journey was over...and a new one had begun.

*******************************
Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds.
Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.  Revelation 20:10-13  NLT

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."  Revelation 21:1-4  NLT
